A&H Student Video Contest

Student winners, and new contest announced.
April 7, 2020
Joshua Gerard

Thank you to our students who submitted videos for our first round of the contest!  In case you were not aware, The Dean’s office has launched an A&H Student Video contest — where we award $100 for the best under-30-second videos demonstrating imagination and creativity as a student during shelter in place.  (We offer $25 to four runner ups.)  There were so many questions in addition to entries that we decided to extend the contest, in case you missed the first deadline of March 31, 2020.

For this first round, we applaud all the creative students who moved swiftly to create and submit entries.  Our winners made us laugh and captured the spirit of the contest.

Our winner is Joshua Gerard with “My Quarantine Story” and our runner up was Carrie Everson with her video “Shelter in Place 2020.”

New Contest!

We are announcing a new contest starting April 6 – 15. Please submit your most interesting thoughtful, fun, somber, contemplative, crazy-silly, melancholy, rapturous work!  Students should submit their videos to (robbinsh@sonoma.edu) and copy Linda (eichhorl@sonoma.edu) and our office will again choose the best. Winning videos will be featured on the A&H website.
