Professor of Dance, Kristen Daley, was invited to teach and facilitate a 5-day Summer Dance Intensive in Chattanooga, TN July 11-15, 2022. This summer dance intensive is designed for experienced high school dancers, focusing on articulating dance skills in a supportive and challenging environment. Kristen taught contemporary dance technique, improvisation, and dance composition centering each student’s personal dance history and heritage. The week-long dance adventure culminated in a special performance on Friday afternoon, July 15 to share all that was discovered, uncovered and created at this dance intensive. Kristen was honored to have been invited into a collaborative learning space with these inspiring dance artists!
