Philosophy Professor Dr. John Sullins will present at the Embedded Ethics Conference on March 7, 2023 at Stanford University. This conference is funded by the Human AI research group (HAI), and the McCoy Ethics Center at Stanford. The conference will bring together 100 teaching professors who are working to embed AI ethics into the curriculum either in GE or as a partnership between philosophy and computer science curriculum. Professor Sullins will be demonstrating his coursework in embedded AI ethics which he has been teaching at SSU for nineteen years. Four teaching demos were chosen as examples to be presented at this conference from Harvard University, Carnegie Mellon University, University of Florida, and Sonoma State University. This is evidence of the forward thinking curriculum that we are giving to our students.
