Technical Theatre student, Aissa Simbulan, is the set designer for 6th Street Playhouse's production of August Wilson's Fences, opening January 12, 2024.
Aissa is currently a senior in the Department of Theatre Arts & Dance and has been a part of several of Sonoma State University's productions including: Pirates of Penzance, Eurydice, Fall Dance 2022, Once Upon a Mattress, WarCircus, Senior Projects 2023, and Super Mega Molten Hot Lava New Play Festival 2023 as well as shows outside of SSU such as: Rodgers's and Hammerstein's Cinderella, The Importance of Being Ernest, Sister Act, Silent Sky (all with SRJC's Summer Repertory Theatre), Sound of Music (Cinnabar), and Hello Dolly and Metromaniacs (Spreckels).
