Associate Professor of Music, Thom Limbert and his long time collaborator, John Mayrose, are presenting a series of electroacoustic music concerts featuring their original works at universities in Wisconsin and Michigan. The electronic and musical material in Limbert’s two works on the program are drawn from audio data collected as part of the SSU-led Sonoma County biodiversity study Soundscapes to Landscapes. Limbert and Mayrose will be presenting solo and duo works for vibraphone, electric guitar, and electronics at UW-Whitewater, UW-Eau Claire, UW-Oshkosh, and Western Michigan University in early October, some of which will be live-streamed.
