Emily Hostutler, English Faculty, was recently announced as part of the Odyssey Works Cohort for 2023. She will be expanding her Service-Learning, Community Engagement and Art Integration practices with an intensive focus on Immersive Design Experience. Immersive Design is centered on conscientious, empathetic connections and has transformed a variety of non-profit and liberal arts framed fields. Emily is looking forward to using these practices to better reach, retain and enhance first-year student experience in the composition classroom. Emily is honored to also be designing her own immersive experience to be featured in New York City in November of this year, details forthcoming.
